Senior Recycling Operative - Chertsey, Surrey

What you'll bring to the team 

Vacancies: Full time availability 

Taking the lead on the department’s operations through the daily waste and recycling collections generated by staff and guests and empty into correct compactors, skips or bailed.

  • Ensure all waste and recycling bins are maintained throughout the day
  • Contribute to the 3Rs of Waste Management Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
  • Take on the role of waste management DDM in the absence of the Assistant Manager
  • Responsible for taking the lead role in Waste/Asset collections
  • Responsible for the allocations for the next operational day
  • Ensure off park bins are emptied on a regular basis
  • Use of equipment such as compactors, balers, gators, jet washers, trailers
  • Daily Compound Audit is completed
  • Will be responsible for the Weekly Vehicle & Trailer Audit Inspections

Qualification & Experience

  • Experience in this role would be an advantage
  • No qualifications are necessary
  • must be over 18 with a full driver’s license.
  • Happy to work in all weathers
  • positive outlook of recycling & sustainability.

Pay Range

GBP £12.34/Hr.
