The Palace Hotel is a large 186-bedroom hotel that has conference rooms that can accommodate up to 250 people, making us the best venue for hosting conferences, meetings, and special events.

We are looking to recruit a Food & Beverage Manager which will also include Duty Manager responsibilities on to our team who will be responsible for maintaining consistent standards of service and ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports organisational values.

As Food & Beverage Manager you will be required to:

  • Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage service staff are recruited, trained, and developed in line with current and future business requirements.
  • Take responsibility for all food and beverage service areas.
  • Ensure all control procedures are implemented effectively.
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures are maintained to company standards.
  • Ensure all rotas are prepared and controlled in line with business requirements.
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager and General Manager to hit the forecasted weekly targets set.
  • Liaise with the Sales Manager to ensure events held at the hotel run efficiently.

The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts including split shifts, early mornings, late finishes, bank holidays, and throughout the festive season. You will communicate effectively with other managers, staff, and guests and be organised, punctual and efficient.
