About The Job

We're looking for an IT Information security Lead to join Hemel IT team.

Reporting to the Head of Infra, service and operations, this pivotal role requires a self-driven individual capable of driving and managing information security initiatives. Your responsibility will extend to safeguarding the integrity and safety of our systems, networks, and guest data while aligning security standards against our Information Security Strategy.

With a focus on infrastructure protection, being able to react promptly to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions to uphold a security environment. Oversee and manage 3rd parties comprehensively to ensure security maturity across data centre, cloud and SaaS technologies.

Conducting routine security assessments and risk analyses, proactively identifying, and mitigating potential threats to our systems and guest information. Independently deploy and manage a spectrum of security tools and technologies within our holiday resorts, head office, data centres and public cloud footprints.

As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for IT Information security Lead who can demonstrate expertise in information security management, particularly focused on security engineering, ideally within the hospitality or entertainment industry.

Essentially, technical knowledge encompassing on-premises data centres and cloud compute platforms would be required. A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field would be advantageous, certifications such as CISSP, CISM would also be welcomed.

You should have excellent communication skills and be confident engaging with teams at all levels. Experienced in managing security incidents, conducting forensic investigations, and executing incident response procedures.
