Sales Coordinator

Interested in a career in Sales? Join our hotel sales team at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, Central London.

As the Sales Coordinator you will work with the Director of Sales to help create and maintain professional relationships with clients, promoting De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms through face-to-face appointments, telesales, and a deep understanding of our events venue and facilities. You will research and proactively convert new business with a focus on local account growth in meetings, conferences and events banqueting.

In return we are offering a base salary of £26,200 depending on your experience, plus a Quarterly Bonus Incentive scheme and excellent benefits including £50 staff stays with De Vere and free meals on duty to name just a few!

This full time role involves working mainly Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends and reports in to the hotels Director of Sales who will be on hand to help develop you and your skills and knowledge.

Your skills and experience:
We are looking for someone either with a track record of sales achievement in the service, hospitality or events industry or a keen interest in sales perhaps having other experience within the events industry ie. Event co-ordination.

To be successful, you should have a basic understanding of the channels to market to create revenue opportunities. Ideally you will be well networked and aware of local, national and global trends in the industry.
