Events Administrator (Maternity Cover) - Eastbourne, East Sussex

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract of Twelve Months

Overview

The role of the Events Administrator involves overseeing the coordination of social events, and meetings with a keen focus on detail. Responsibilities include establishing connections with clients post-confirmation, developing function sheets, generating and sending invoices, and crafting event menus, place cards, and table plans. This position requires effective teamwork, exceptional organisational abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across various departments to maintain  seamless service for clients. While the role primarily operates on weekdays, occasional weekend assistance for events may be required.

Key Attributes/Experience

  • Excellent communication skills across all media.
  • Administration and IT skills, including computer literacy.
  • Attention to detail, professional manner and good understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Able to use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
  • Opera experience is a bonus however not essential
