Up to £32,000 per annum

The Marketing and Communication Manager will be responsible for managing marketing communications through specific channels, lead generation, executing business development strategies, supporting business objectives, enhancing customer retention, and collaborating with relevant sales teams. The marketing manager will manage a rapidly expanding marketing team to deliver on digital marketing, content creation, PR and editorial, event and campaign support and graphic design works.

Duties And Responsibilities


  • Management of internal and external campaigns and projects across a range of activities and services.
  • Lead the execution of the marketing strategy from start to finish, driving collaboration with internal and external stakeholders while leveraging the right internal processes
  • Ensuring the completion of branding/marketing plans to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
  • Lead on the creative development of the websites and App and the integration of AI technologies
  • Develop business cases/proposals and make recommendations on marketing tactics
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing campaigns, strategies in achieving their stated objectives, including engagement, commercial response, lead generation and customer retention
  • Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders
  • Attending and supporting company events, conferences and trade shows


  • Oversee the inception, production and distribution of all social media content
  • Conceptualize engaging digital and physical marketing collateral that support marketing/business objectives
  • Ensure maintenance of customer facing platforms (social media, websites, leisure centers)
  • Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with Leisure Focus
  • Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance the company’s brand


  • Campaign reporting
  • Day to day administration (emails, calls, meetings)

Desired Skills And Qualifications

We require our Marketing Manager to have the ability to blend managerial, creative, administrative, communication and marketing skills. Ideally, they can multitask and complete jobs in light of strict deadlines. Alongside the above, the successful candidate will have the following desired skills and qualifications.

  • A recognised qualification in Marketing, Media, Social Media or a related subject
