Assistant National Sales Manager - South & East Region

The role and background
This position is to provide greater support to 17 of our sites to achieve our sales, revenue and net gain targets for swimming and fitness memberships across the country.
As Assistant National Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Implementing sales strategies across approximately 17 sites.
- The commercial performance of all membership sales revenue within your sites and improving membership net gain performance across these sites.
- Working as part of the central sales and marketing team, but collaborating across the wider organisation.
- This role will support the Head of Sales in the delivery of Parkwood sales and net gain numbers across all Parkwood sites. Reporting daily sales performance and questioning and interrogating below budget performance at individual sites.
- This role will take ownership of our Atreemo back office CRM system to ensure all centres are recording their sales leads and appointments enabling you to report and manage individual sales performance with the Centre Managers.
- You will be expected to deliver regular sales and membership assistant training to site based staff, assessing and signing off OTE eligibility, as well as completing regular site sales audits.
- You will be required to provide analysis on performance with recommendations into the operating structure. Most importantly help to ensure that our teams really put sales at the heart of everything we do, driving a sales, retention, customer service and accountability culture.
Applicants should offer the following skills and experience:
- Experience of managing activity levels, sales journey's and delivering member net gain improvements
- Minimum of two year's experience managing within a sales environment
- Experience of delivering sales training
- Good knowledge and previous experience of managing and using a CRM system
- Previous people management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Excellent communication and Influencing skills
- A completer / finisher
- Good IT skills
- Customer focus
- Experience of delivering sales training
- Experience in a pre-sales environment
- University degree in a related field is a bonus
- Nationwide travel is essential, therefore a car and a full driving license is required
