Chef De Partie - The Breakfast Club - London St. Pancras

Pay Rate: £12.20 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to 13.70 per hour.

Shift pattern: Between 5am and 11pm,

Contract: Full time ONLY - 30 to 40 hours per week

AS A CHEF DE PARTIE YOU’LL:

  • Be part of a kitchen that is creative, nurturing and positive, promoting learning and a passion for food and produce.
  • Have previous experience as a chef for at least 1 year
  • Learn set recipes and ensure all menu items are made to specification, meeting our high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Communicate with the kitchen team, taking on board regular feedback
  • Ensure that Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are adhered to and recommendations from Food Safety Audits carried out.
  • Assist with all administration for the kitchen, ensuring that it is completed according to all deadlines, including food hygiene records, stocktakes, wastage sheets and cleanliness records.
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in the recruitment, induction and on boarding of any new Kitchen team members.
  • Demonstrate your leadership with a hands-on approach and effective communication, engaging and motivating your team through pre-shift briefs.
  • Manage stock control and food margins.
  • Have an eye for detail and thrive in a high volume fast paced environment.
  • Ensure a fair approach when managing performance
