What you'll be doing

You’ll partner with a number of Assistant Directors and General Managers helping them to think strategically about their teams. You’ll support the implementation of people programmes and initiatives in the region. You’ll work collaboratively with our central People Service Centre, subject experts including our regional development and resourcing specialists as well as regional colleagues to provide solutions.  We also have a team of People Specialists who support managers with cases and day to day guidance.

Key areas of focus for the role include, inclusion and diversity, wellbeing and engagement, resourcing, succession development and change management.

You’ll need to quickly build open, trusted relationships and work confidently with colleagues across the National Trust.  You’ll use your experience of working in a large and complex organisation to ensure plans are sustainable and deliver organisational benefits and results. Above all, we want you to play a part in developing a culture in which leaders are empowered, with the confidence and skills they need to lead their people well.
