We are looking for a European Data Manager to join our team!

As the European Data Manager, you will be responsible for obtaining/extracting, entering, and maintaining specific data into our databases. You will be responsible for managing data and keeping it organised, working with our Finance, Technology and Supply Chain partners to make sure that the right information is held for how well our business is doing.

While working remotely is supported, there may be some European travel required once established in role.

A day in the life of a European Data Manager:

  • Acquire, transform and load data.
  • Working in languages including English, Dutch, French, Czech, German, Spanish
  • Validate data and liaise with companies for correction and modifications.
  • Data cross-referencing and setup for master data records. To include brands, locations, products, and their attributes.
  • Ensure all master data is setup and categorised correctly within the Global Supply Chain taxonomy, cross-referencing with spend, and obtaining missing information.
  • Work to monthly deadlines to ensure all reporting data are available and dispatched.
  • Provide data internally and externally.
  • On-boarding new companies as a new data source
  • Support and collaborate on global transformation programmes and initiatives enhancing the Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance processes that enable effective Rebate Management.
  • To attend, as required, team meetings and to take relevant actions required to achieve the agreed objectives.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Fluency in Dutch or French and English
  • The ability to work with many languages, and understand how to communicate in unfamiliar languages
  • Must be able to work as part of a team, must attend to team members when necessary, must communicate with other team members for day-to-day operations, and be able to work independently
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries, using the WITH syntax (in Oracle will be advantageous)
  • Experience in writing and transforming data (in Microsoft Access is advantageous), with an understanding of data specifications.
  • Experience in data modelling will be advantageous.
  • Must have experience in writing, using and reporting on data using Excel (pivots, load data, vlookup), Microsoft Access (writing updates, delete, queries, macros, import), VBA, PowerShell, CSV, CMD, FTP
