Up to 65,000 dependent on experienceAccess to a range of benefits including Private Health InsuranceDue to recent business growth we have an exciting new opportunity to join our Foodbuy Finance Team as a Finance Business Partner, an influential and high-profile role responsible for the recent 3 Foodbuy GPO acquisitions. This role is pivotal in supporting the individual businesses to drive overall performance, constantly aiming for ambitious growth and continuous improvement.
As Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for:
Business Partnering the MDs of the businesses ensuring strong commercial and operational decision making, managing financial risks and opportunities for the Foodbuy Group. Providing financial support to the business in developing, influencing and executing the overall subsector strategy. Working with the wider finance team to continually develop KPIs and ensure that end users are focusing on the right metrics to drive sustainable profitable growth. Management, tracking and reporting of procurement benefits (synergies) across the 3 businesses. Overall responsibility for forecasting & governance of subsector finances - highlighting and managing risks and opportunities around achievement of subsector targets. Calculate and manage the financial risks and opportunities arising from volumetric and other contract mechanisms. Challenge and appraise investment decisions and new business opportunities. Manage working capital and cashflow targets for the business. Actively support and provide financial oversight for all contract amendments and pricing, ensuring best commercial options are delivered and applied consistently. The line management and development of the team.
The successful Finance Business Partner will have proven skills of B/S management, P&L delivery and growth, a keen eye on automation and standardisation in addition to great commercial acumen. A resilient leader with high technical capability, integrity and excellent attention to detail.
Essential:CIMA/ACCA/ACA with 2+ years of post-qualification experience Line management experience. Experience of business partnering senior stakeholders with the ability to challenge, influence and persuade at all levels. Confidence to make decisions, recommendations and advise the team. High numeric and analytical skills and diligence Comfortable developing and working with complex spreadsheets. Demonstrable commercial finance experience of improving business results and adding value. Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically. Ability to analyse, evaluate and present information concisely. Driver of innovation and continuous improvement
Desirable:Experience of operating within a procurement/food & non-food service / pricing service organisation Good working knowledge of SAP
