About the Concierge role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Concierge to join our team at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah.

The main duties and responsibilities of this Concierge role:

  • Provide unparalleled guest services by welcoming guests with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to exceed their expectations.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the local area, attractions, restaurants, and events to assist guests in making informed decisions and arrangements.
  • Manage the concierge desk efficiently, ensuring a welcoming and organized workspace that serves as a focal point for guest inquiries and assistance.
  • Facilitate reservations for dining, entertainment, transportation, and other services, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and prompt confirmation.
  • Cater to VIP guests and handle special requests with discretion and attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Arrange transportation services for guests, including airport transfers, limousines, and local transportation, ensuring punctuality and guest comfort.
  • Assist guests in planning and organizing special events, celebrations, and activities, coordinating with various hotel departments to ensure flawless execution.
  • Tailor services to meet individual guest preferences, maintaining a database of guest profiles to anticipate needs and provide a personalized experience.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, collaborating with other hotel departments to resolve issues and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, local developments, and hotel services through continuous training, ensuring a high level of expertise and professionalism in the role.

About the ideal Concierge:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, service providers, and key stakeholders, expanding the network of resources available to enhance guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with relevant computer systems, reservation software, and office applications, ensuring efficiency in managing reservations, guest profiles, and communication.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a concierge role within a luxury hotel environment, showcasing a deep understanding of the unique needs and expectations of high-end clientele.
  • Possess a formal concierge certification or relevant qualification from a recognized institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in hospitality services.
