Design Manager - Ecommerce - Bruton, Somerset
12 month fixed term contract
40 hours per week over 5 days
Office Based 30- 35K per annum based on experience
As the E-commerce Design Manager, you will be responsible for creating an inviting, branded experience for the food and drink brand across multiple digital and in-store touchpoints. We are seeking a self-motivated all-rounder who can effectively engage with our ethos and help us communicate it beautifully to our audience. Your role will involve supporting the creation of email newsletters, in-store POS, digital advertising, and social media assets, aimed at attracting new customers to the brand and fostering loyalty among our existing customer base. Working closely with the Head of Marketing for E-commerce, as well as the Media and Creative teams, you will demonstrate a passion for the design process and possess a strong knowledge of the Adobe Suite.

- Take ownership of planning and briefing asset creation for editorial and promotional content, ensuring its effective delivery across various sections of the website, email, and digital advertising.
- Design and schedule weekly marketing newsletters.
- Provide support for both pre and post-production phases of photoshoots, including image filing.
- Produce in-store POS materials and printed leaflets and flyers for significant commercial events/moments.
- Assist the wider marketing team by contributing ideas for product selection and merchandising for seasonal and ad-hoc marketing campaigns across all channels.
- Provide regular summary reports with insightful commentary on opportunities, challenges, and promotional performance across the E-commerce website and digital marketing.
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in E-commerce environments, including creating marketing assets for multi-channel use and collaborating with agencies and freelancers.
- Proficiency with content management and e-commerce systems, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across teams.
- Strong communication skills, adept at collaborating with stakeholders and managing multiple projects.
- Sound understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, enhancing brand presence and engagement.
- Extensive experience in managing artwork and design processes for digital and print media, overseeing projects from start to finish.
- Proactive and self-motivated, capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail, adhering to brand guidelines and demonstrating excellent typography skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Advanced photo retouching skills, ensuring high-quality visuals.
- Strong organisational abilities, facilitating smooth project management and execution.
- A compelling portfolio spotlighting recent work, showcasing skills and abilities.
- Experience in photoshoot preparation, styling, and post-production is highly desirable.
- Passion for the luxury gifting or farm food market, aligning with brand ethos and values is preferred.
