Are you a digital marketing professional with a proven track record of driving online activity and delivering conversions through data-driven insights? We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented individual to join our customer and marketing function as a Performance Media Planner for Asda online, on a 6 - 9 month fixed term maternity cover.

"Find your role"

You will be working across Asda's Online Grocery proposition as well as George.com. This is a varied and rewarding area to work in, where you will be helping each website to achieve its growth ambitions. We work directly with the biggest digital media owners in the world and you will have the opportunity to work on industry leading products and projects.

The role will comprise of a number of responsibilities:

 

  • Execute planned activity for performance channels to achieve weekly and monthly targets that support the growth of Asda's online businesses.
  • Assist in reporting and attribution for performance channels, supporting the team in meeting KPIs and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Manage the day-to-day flow of information between the business and media agency to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and BAU activity.
  • Support the development of partnerships with industry leaders, such as Google and Meta, to implement trials and BETAs.
  • Monitor the digital landscape to stay up to date with the latest digital media trends.
  • Work on the development of channel roadmaps, innovation plans, and a robust test-and-learn framework to ensure continuous improvement and optimisation of all digital marketing activities.
  • Coordinate with creative and proposition teams to ensure the timely delivery of relevant digital media assets for a variety of channels.

You'll have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in digital media and analytics, with the ability to analyse performance metrics to ensure activity is on track.
  • Experience working with various performance channels, including SEO, affiliates, programmatic, display, social, PPC, and Google Shopping.
  • Ability to make informed decisions on digital media activity to ensure campaigns pace correctly and deliver against set objectives.
  • Google Ads certification or similar channel certifications are highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal colleagues and third-party agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver timely and accurate information through appropriate channels and forums to ensure all stakeholders are informed and supported.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with the ability to follow clear goals and KPIs.
  • Adaptability to adjust to changes in the digital marketing landscape quickly.
