Hotel Night Team Leader - Chertsey, Surrey

Job Type: Full Time - Seasonal (Fixed End Date)

Roles & Responsibilities

What will I do?

  • Effectively run the Hotel Operation as the department duty manager for your shift
  • Deal with the guest feedback on the day and via other guest communication channels
  • Support Thomas our Hotel Operations Assistant Manager in People Managing the hotel front of house team by having a number of direct reports
  • Ensure all training for direct reports is kept up to date
  • Responsible for auditing the financial activities of the hotel
  • Take reservations face to face and over the phone
  • Point of contact for guests feedback and queries
  • First line response for all First Aid instances

If required, you will be expected to conduct Hotel evacuations in accordance with Fire & Safety regulations; as well as Hotel walk rounds and fire extinguisher checks during each shift. Full training will be provided, covering our Hotel and Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

An ideal candidate would be:

  • Integrity with handling guests property
  • Previous People Management experience

Due to the nature of this role we will only accept applications from those candidates over the age of 18.  Working hours will include weekends and holidays as required.
