Roles & Responsibilities

Are you a Health & Safety Advisor, who would like a new challenge? If so, THORPE PARK Resort, a theme park Like No Other, could be that opportunity for you!

We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor. As a Health and Safety professional you’ll focus on maintaining and driving improvement of our high Health & Safety standards across the Resort. You’ll provide practical safety advice to all departments, using existing management systems to guide key stakeholders and highlight risks to the business. You’ll report into our Health and Safety Manager, who will support you as you learn and develop the role. One day you may be inspecting and auditing areas of the Resort, the next you may be creating a training plan to implement; we are confident when we say no two days are ever the same!

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for the following skills and experience;

  • A recognised Health and Safety qualification, for example a NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Training and Development qualification and/or experience
  • Knowledge in Fire Safety
  • Experience in delivering practical Health and Safety advice in a multi-location environment
  • You must be comfortable with working independently
  • Experience working in a similar role and in a fast-moving customer services environment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels

This role is Full-Time permanent position, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
