Starting off as Office Manager at our stunning new, lake-side offices you will have the opportunity to understand the charity, the sector and most importantly our amazing people as you develop your career. 

We are sold out on developing this role into our next Company Secretary and will include a comprehensive and exciting programme of development and remuneration plan for the successful individual. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of office policies, creating processes aligned with our values.
  • Be the primary point of contact, offering a world-class welcome to all employees and visitors.
  • Lead administrative office security, including key management and record maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for our central support team.
  • Assist in preparing legal communications, bids, and reports as administrative support.
  • Manage workflows, collate data, and ensure reporting requirements are met promptly.
  • Lead the planning and execution of an annual calendar of office-specific events and engagements.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules and room bookings for smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Act as the operational contact for office-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Control office finances for procurement and budgeting with a keen eye on value for money.
  • Support the CEO and Executive team in trustee meeting administration, AGMs, and quarterly invites.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders and handle filing documents with Companies House.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience in a comparable role within an office environment (desirable)
  • Demonstrable support for a senior/executive Leadership/C-Suite Team (desirable)
  • Proven ownership of tasks and effective prioritisation (essential)
  • Degree-level education in finance, English, or related fields (desirable)
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of corporate governance (essential)
  • Effective time management and confidence in managing stakeholder expectations (essential)
