Front of House Staff - Padstow, Cornwall

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract. We are ideally seeking applicants available between March-June 2024 until September-October 2024.

Hours: Good news, our fixed-term seasonal contracts can offer both full and part-time hours throughout the duration of the contract. You can indicate your availability, by completing our application form. Even if you can only dedicate a couple of days per week, we are confident we can meet your needs.

Depending on the role and hours worked, in our core Spring/Summer months, Front of House Staff at THE PIG - at Harlyn Bay have earnt up to 600 in service charge per month. Whilst service charge varies, there is never a quiet day at THE PIG - at Harlyn Bay, so you can expect your piggy bank to be filled.

Our Pay Promise - Everyone in our business earns above the National Living Wage, regardless of age.

During the warmer months, THE PIG - at Harlyn Bay becomes extremely popular. Our indoor restaurant service and outdoor dining - The Lobster Shed welcome's hotel guests, pre-booked reservations, and walk-ins. Our hotel sleeps at full capacity, providing our teams with a buzzy, atmospheric place of work all day, every day.

To meet the demand, we will have an array of roles available, from Waiting Staff, to Bartenders, Wine Waiters, Housekeepers, Receptionist and Massage Therapists.

We want our team to bring their personality to the job in hand and enjoy where they work. At THE PIG - at Harlyn Bay, you will continuously experience our daily changing menu, the seasonal produce in the garden and interactions with a variety of people in an informal setting. We encourage creativity and want our staff to feel empowered to give that little extra in everything they do.

Upon successful completion of your contract, you will have the flexibility to leave our team or subject to availability, a future with THE PIG Hotels, permanent or just for the peak seasons - the decision is yours.

Any experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for smiley, friendly people who strive from working in a fast paced and fun environment.
