Set in a beautiful honey coloured Georgian terrace is the boutique Hotel Indigo Bath. Grade one listed our building is steeped in history and sits in the peaceful street of South Parade, just steps away from the centre of Bath. Surrounded by culture Bath is famous for romance, literature and historic architecture; our boutique hotel is a great base to explore this wonderful city.

Our 166 rooms have been perfectly designed with our guests and the city in mind. Modern and stylish they reflect the influences of the architects and novelists who made Bath famous for its story telling and passionate social scene. From the start of the guest experience until the moment they leave, they'll be embroiled in this fascinating neighbourhood.

But Hotel Indigo Bath is more than just a Hotel; we also the home of The Elder Restaurant, a sumptuous yet informal dining experience where our guests are taken on a journey of discovery by our knowledgeable and passionate team. The Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Guest Relations Manager to join our team. As Guest Relations Manager you will be the first point of contact for all incoming guests, establishing and developing personal contact right from the start to enhance their experience with us. The ability to maintain long lasting relationships with regular and new guests, whilst being imaginative to create wonderful memories, will be second nature to you. As our Guest Relations Manager, you will encourage feedback from guests, whilst investigating and responding to any guest compliments or complaints in a timely manner, ensuring that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to the correct person.

The role will require frequent liaison will all departments but most specifically Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping in order to ensure the smooth running of the guest experience. You’ll also act as host to meet and greet guests, answering any queries they may have and directing them towards where they need to be. You will be someone who likes to get to know people with the ability to start genuine conversations. Part of your role will be solving problems and so you’ll need to be highly organised with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Guest Relations Manager who’s hands -on, has the ability to motivate and delegate effectively, is flexible and has a professional and caring attitude. You will need experience working in a similar position ideally from a 4/5* quality hotel with an overall knowledge of all departments as well as the hospitality sector in general. The customer experience will be at the heart of everything you do and you’ll be committed to delivering unparalleled levels of guest service. It’s an ever -changing role and for you, no two days will be the same so you’ll thrive under pressure whilst always maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
