Reporting To: Area Manager

The Role:

The Area Support Manager is a team support function in YO!. You have full responsibility in your area for supporting the area manager with kiosk operations by engaging our teams, guest satisfaction, ensuring teams adhere to compliance and brand standards and are driving profitability. You’ll work in partnership with both YO!, Panku and your fellow Area Chefs to share innovation, drive growth and inspire our teams! The role will be fast paced, with lots of locations to visit, sometimes at short notice, but this is something you’ll take in your stride

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily coaching of teams across your Area where required by the Area Manager
  • Ensuring teams are confident in and following menu specs diligently to ensure the best possible experience for the customer
  • Re-training of a team/ manager following an audit fail or concern
  • Supporting kiosks experiencing staffing shortages and ensuring the kiosk remains open and trading, inclusive of lone working
  • Ensure Health and Safety is an absolute priority, and you not only adhere to but excel in all areas of company policy ensuring all units you train and work in pass Shield/SAI Global Audits
  • Assist with any new openings to support the ongoing growth of the business
  • Be a positive role model for the Team and create a healthy, dynamic and energetic work environment. Is inclusive and champions diversity amongst the teams
  • The job role will involve a lot of travel and potentially staying away from home frequently due to the geographical locations of our kiosks. Any potential candidates must be happy to travel with over night stays. Own Car is preferable

Our Requirements:

  • In Depth knowledge of both workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures
  • Motivated by developing and championing their area
  • You’re passionate about the guest and the guest experience, leading by example to ensure a superior level of service across your area
  • Excels at communication, and together with the area manager ensures the kiosk teams are trained to run their business profitably and safely.
  • You must have a great working knowledge of the kitchen, food specs, product knowledge and health and safety. Able to identify poor food standards and able to communicate and train the teams to rectify the issues at hand. You drive sales by training teams to deliver excellent service, the best standards of food and a clean, safe kiosk.
