Stock Exchange Hotel is located within the heart of central Manchester. Positioned on Norfolk Street in between Market Street and King Street

Set within the former home of the Manchester Stock Exchange; every detail has been meticulously considered to create our luxury, boutique accommodation and capture the spirit and heritage of the building. The stunning example of Edwardian Baroque architecture, with its original marble, brass and woodwork, has been carefully restored to breathe new life into one of the city’s most historically symbolic institutions.

As a Guest Experience Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' needs are met and handled with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Lobby Bobby, providing assistance to the front desk and concierge as required.
  • Handle guest errands and requests promptly, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and provide accurate information or direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, ensuring their belongings are securely transported to their desired location.
  • Be proficient in the art of champagne pouring, delivering a touch of elegance and sophistication to guests during special occasions or celebrations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions, enabling you to provide accurate and helpful recommendations to guests.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth coordination and support in managing guest transportation needs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in all guest interactions.
  • Continuously strive to exceed guest expectations and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with guests and team members.
  • Proactive and attentive to detail, with a strong focus on anticipating guest needs and providing personalised service.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and remain calm under pressure, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Possession of a valid driving license is desirable, as it would facilitate transportation tasks, however, it is not a mandatory requirement
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
