We are recruiting a sale’s driven Wedding & Events Sales Executive

Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club is now the go-to venue for weddings and celebrations in the Dartford area, the venue has multiple suites with capacities of up to 200 people.

Part of the Burhill Group Limited (BGL), a privately owned company by the Guinness family. The Club has first-class facilities, which includes function and events rooms, two golf courses, a health and fitness suite, swimming pool and relaxation facilities and a floodlit Trackman driving range.

Transparent commission structure to compliment a competitive salary of £25,000, with OTE realistically reaching £30,000.

Key Requirements

This full-time role will include sales and coordination of weddings, functions, and events. Based in the sales office you will be responsible for the customer sales journey from initial enquiry through to sale, and for some events, supporting on the day.

We are looking for someone who is passionate in delivering sales results whilst maintaining excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner. You can expect to undertake a mixture of proactive sales activities whilst servicing incoming sales enquiries, as well as attending meetings with clients, and hosting show rounds.

Experience of working in sales within the hospitality sector is preferred, but an outgoing, results driven individual with a passion for sales and service is key. You will need to be effective communicator, well presented, with a strong desire to succeed, all attributes that will support your success.

Overview of Role & Responsibilities

  • Have an eye for detail and take delight in looking after our “Brides and Grooms”.
  • Handling customer sales enquiries from start to finish.
  • We are in the people business, so a personable and approachable nature is critical.
  • Build rapport and have an ability to close business and maximize revenue.
  • Conduct venue tours, tailored to the prospect’s needs.
  • Be proactive with outreach and can turn leads into genuine prospects through personability, rapport and sound need’s analysis.
  • Contributing to reaching and exceeding the monthly and annual events sales targets.
  • Proactive planning and delivering effective lead generation.
  • Manage and maintain data on our CRM.
  • Contributing to the marketing planner for the business with scope to implement your own ideas.
