The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for all people related activity across Enable including employee engagement, wellbeing, development, talent acquisition, onboarding and ensuring retention of our staff.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional able to influence business and operational decisions at senior level, becoming a trusted advisor for the leadership team.
You will proactively look after our people, champion our culture and values and manage all aspects of HR and talent acquisition. You will work across Enable, interacting with all departments and sites. We’re looking for a Head of HR to take a hands-on, delivery focused role, working on our systems, training and culture, to grow our people.
You’ll be joining a passionate team player who strive to deliver outcomes, impacting on our people and communities.
Essential
- Outstanding communication skills including the ability to deliver bad news and to influence at Leadership and board-level.
- Experience as a manager and role model.
- Proven ability to empower and develop others.
- Proven problem solving and strategic skills
- Proven organisational skills including prioritising and time-management.
- Thrives under pressure and relishes change.
- Understanding of commercial considerations and financial implications of decision making.
- CIPD qualified with evidence of ongoing professional development on a continuous basis.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a senior role as Head of HR or similar discipline.
- Knowledge of employment law and how to apply legislation.
- Experience of creating and managing compensation and benefits programmes.
- Experience of Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) regulations.
- Experience of managing redundancy situations.
£56,650
40 hours per week
