What you'll be doing:

Are you passionate about food and drink and providing an outstanding customer experience? Do you thrive in a fast-paced role where 2 days are never the same?

Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of our restaurant and bar as well as our meeting and events. You will ensure a high level of service is always provided across your department, leading by example and monitoring customer satisfaction.

Here is what you need to bring to the role:

  • A communicative nature and strong work ethic
  • Previous management/supervisory experience within the hospitality sector preferred but training can be given
  • A keen eye for detail, strict organisation and an appetite for victory
  • Previous experience in an FB role, Meetings Events, Banqueting or Conferences

More about the role:
  • Maintain a high professional standard of performance at all times, alongside the highest standards of quality, service and guest care within the Restaurant and Bar areas
  • Manage the restaurant booking sheet to ensure the restaurant service is efficient and well and guests have a faultless and pleasurable experience.
  • Ensure the Restaurant and Bar areas are kept to a hygienic standard of cleanliness and tidiness, together with the hygienic handling of all food to ensure food safety.
  • Assist with the planning, organising and control of the day-to-day operation of the department.
  • Supervise the work of the team, allocating special duties and responsibilities.
  • Attend any meeting as requested by Management.
  • Be responsible for the safe and secure control of the Bar and Restaurant liquor stock, crockery, glassware, cutlery, foodstuffs and restaurant sundries.
  • Be fully aware of all liquor licensing legislation.
  • Fulfil duty management shifts when required
  • Asist in the running of wedding and events in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager. (Experience Preferred but training can be given)
