The Grand Hotel Sunderland offers 82-bedrooms, an on-site Bar & Restaurant and five versatile event rooms that can accommodate up to 300 delegates, popular for weddings and events. Due to high demand, we are looking to recruit a Wedding & Events Executive on to the team.
As Wedding & Events Executive, you will be required to:
- Develop sales strategies which include packages and pricing, maximise sales & revenue across all hotel facilities
- You will ensure that the Events taking place at the Hotel operate at an impeccable standard and encourage customer satisfaction.
- Perform sales calls to generate enquires
- Demonstrate great customer service to all guests
The successful candidate must be able to develop effective relationships with clients, agents, and the operational department within the hotel. Computer literacy is essential to this role. A passion for sales is vital, as are communication skills and thorough knowledge of hotel facilities. Experience in wedding sales is beneficial. This position is available on a Full-Time contract.
