The Britannia Hotel Edinburgh is situated on the banks of the Water of Leith in the West End of the city. Our Britannia Hotel is conveniently located within easy reach of many of the city's major attractions. The Hotel features 223 well-appointed guest bedrooms and an on-site restaurant and an on-site bar, where guests can enjoy freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.

As an Operations Manager, you will be required to:

  • Support the Area Manager in all aspects of running a hotel.
  • Manage and resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner
  • Work in co-operation with other departments, developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues
  • Ensure the hotel complies with regards to Health & Safety, Employment and Licensing
  • Take responsibility of covering General Manager duties

The successful candidate will have previous management experience in a 100+ bedroom Hotel, be customer service satisfaction focused, and able to adapt and prioritise to different situations. Experience of building an efficient, trained team of staff is desirable, along with demonstrating a hands-on approach, with excellent organisational skills.
