About Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is a Grade II listed hotel located in the heart of the City, offering 204 stylish guest rooms and suites. Buried in the heart of the historic Square Mile directly outside Blackfriars station, close to St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. The Grade II listed hotel is steeped in regal history, residing on the former grounds of King Henry VIII's Bridewell Palace. Opening February 2023 the hotel will boast a conference floor with 4 meeting spaces, 2 restaurants and 1 signature bar.

Duties and tasks related to the Maintenance Team Leader role include

• We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader who will be responsible to maintain and operate all the plant, machinery and equipment within the hotel to achieve optimum guest and colleague comfort and safety, whilst maintaining costs to a minimum.
• Leading and delegating tasks to the maintenance team
• Supporting the Maintenance Manager with the day to day running of the department
• Repair of defects and the safe and efficient operation of the building, plant and equipment
• Maintaining and operating all the hotel plant
• Ensuring that any un-repaired fault likely to cause an accident is isolated and that such equipment is left in a complete safe condition with the appropriate warning notices attached
• Carrying out the designated procedures if a fire alarm is raised
• Assisting guest’s during their stay
• Providing all required information about the Hotel, available services and facilities
