We're looking for a Food & Beverage Team Leader to join us at Shugborough.

Hours: 1248 hours per year, working 3 to 4 days during peak times (approx. 24 hours per week). This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. More hours will be worked in Summer and less in Winter. Weekday and weekend working will be required.

Salary: £10.81 per hour (£21,079.50 per year pro rata)

Duration: permanent contract

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be based at Shugborough Estate, home to the Anson family since 1624. The estate includes a Georgian mansion house with magnificent views over the riverside garden terraces, Grade 1 listed parkland, walled garden and working farm. It also features a café and tea room, second-hand bookshop and two retail outlets. Shugborough is supported by a passionate, engaging and hardworking team of staff and volunteers who love what they do and love sharing it with visitors.

What you'll be doing

With your love of working with people, positive attitude, and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet.

As a Team Leader you'll support the team daily to ensure we are compliant and that every food and drink order is beautifully presented and served with a smile. 

Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served, looks delicious. 

You will receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role. Further professional training & development opportunities are available.
