Shifts/Pattern or work: Part Time - 26 hours Per Week - Hybrid working (After Initial Training)

We have an exception role for you, in the position of Payment Compliance Associate

Reporting to a Payment Compliance Team Leader you will assist the group wide management of recording, resolution and payment of accounts that have been short paid or denied by the payor or accounts in a credit status.

You will be frequently interacting with facility staff and our senior Management, clinical teams s to assist in the resolution of the accounts.

The Impact you will have:

  • Ensuring timely follow up with payors once the facility teams have adjudicated on the reasons and given instruction to achieve resolution and recovery of balance.
  • Ensure accuracy of input coding and maintenance into the Meditech coding custom defined screen (CDS).
  • Business Partnering with non-finance in order to extract financial information and aid Revenue on key financial insight.
  • Assist analysis of information, reporting, problem solving and decision making
  • Is a champion of continuous improvement to facility, senior finance and clinical teams.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has;

  • The ability to analyse process flows, identify areas to improve efficiency and maintain an appropriate control framework
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner at the senior Managership level
  • The ability to process large volumes of transactions and prioritize worklists Team player and ability to build effective working relationships
  • Working collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent computer/systems skills with demonstrated spreadsheet and database expertise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills ensuring message understood across the business (internal/external stakeholders)
  • Strong attention to detail
