Assistant Conference and Banqueting Manager - Accommodation Available - Maidenhead, Berkshire

Cliveden House is a Grade I listed stately home caring considerable grandeur from its days as a private house, mixed with an approachable and open welcome that instantly puts you at ease. Set in 376 acres of National Trust grounds and a short distance from London, Cliveden has a brand new spa, two restaurants, 40 bedrooms and two boats.

As our Assistant C&B Manager you will take responsibility for allocated areas in Conference & Banqueting, and maximise guest satisfaction through following planned requests as described by events sheet, anticipating extra guest requests, and responding to special requests positively.

Assistant C&B Manager - Main Responsibilities

  • To take ownership showing passion; ensure that food & beverage will be served by Hotel Standards and in the required time according to the Event road sheet.
  • To effectively manage your time and productivity whilst at work.
  • To effectively manage the time and productivity of your team whilst at work.
  • To take pride and ensure that appropriate mise-en-place is prepared according to the event road sheet.
  • To be confident in setting up conference rooms, as instructed by events road sheet, thus meeting guests expectations.
  • To ensure that all conference rooms are presentable, and in optimal condition.

Assistant C&B Manager - About you 

As our C&B Assistant Manager, you will have experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel operation at supervisory or management level within the conference and events team. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure the events run at Cliveden are like no other, as well as being a great motivator for the team.
