HMSHost are hiring for an Assistant Manager at our LEON Restaurant in King’s Cross station, London! 

Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum

We operate a fantastic restaurant at Kings Cross and Euston Stations. LEON Restaurant is naturally fast food. Food that tastes great and does you good. We are looking for two Assistant Managers to join us at both Kings Cross & Euston Stations.

What are we looking for in an Assistant Manager?

Be Open: we are looking for someone who our teams can trust. You will be part of the senior restaurant leadership team so we are looking for people who look out for others, who are honest and cares about the development of your team. 

Be Passionate: Passion is key. You will be supporting the Store Manager in ensuring brand compliance, guest experience, legal compliance, sales, finance and the development of our teams so you must be passionate about what you do.

Be Reliable: An Assistant manager with HMSHost is an integral part of the restaurant leadership team. You are responsible for the day to day running of the store so we are looking for people we can trust.

Keep it simple: The responsibilities of an Assistant Manager is simple, our teams and guests. An Assistant Manager operates the store with our teams and guests at the front of everything you do. From team development to guest interaction, you will take accountability to ensure a smooth operation.

Set the pace: We operate restaurants in travel locations with high footfall. As an Assistant Manager we are looking for someone who can ensure a smooth operation even during peak periods. To ensure your aces are in places, strong deployment, make sure the restaurant is set up correctly are all key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To work closely with our Store Managers to support your stores P&L by driving sales
  • To portray strong brand & company standards & to ensure the day to day operations are compliant 
  • To develop & grow your teams by owning development plans & opportunities 
  • To support with legal compliance in all aspects of the store
  • To support HR, payroll & finance duties according to company policies

To be considered, we are looking for:

  • Experience within a similar position, whether this is within a high volume travel location or experience working with a brand
  • Strong leadership skills & evidence of leading a large team
  • Evidence of basic P&L management and financial understanding
  • Knowledge of HR & payroll duties
