Bailbrook House Hotel is a 4 Silver Star Hotel with 94 bedrooms, a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, Bar and variety of function rooms. 


We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team at Bailbrook House Hotel - The position can offer 24 hours per week.

The typical working hours will cover 3 nights per week between the hours of 21:30pm - 07:00am.

You will be able to give a fantastic welcome to any late arrivals getting to know what someone needs before they even know it themselves, leaving them impressed, reassured, and most importantly, feeling at home. It doesn’t matter if they’re first time visitors or returning guests, you’ll charm them from the initial welcome to the “Good Night or Have a safe journey” with your impeccable standards of service.

Ensuring safety and security is a main priority for our night teams but they are also expert all-rounders helping to fulfil many different roles whilst they are on shift, such as working on the bar, cleaning, setting up conference rooms and delivering room service food orders. About you:

• You’ll enjoy working nights and will have experience of working these hours
• You’ll be someone who remains calm under pressure and is able to take any challenges in your stride
• You’ll enjoy making guests feel welcome and at home, and will develop a thorough knowledge of our of hotel products and services
• You’ll ideally have previous experience working in hotels or in a Night Porter role, but this is not essential
• You’ll be excellent at building a rapport with new and returning guests
• You’ll take pride in your appearance, as the face of Hand Picked Hotels
• Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, welcoming and genuine manner
