Hours: Fixed term contract from March 2023 to November 2023.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Costume and basecamp Assistant to join the resorts Entertainment Department where you can immerse yourself in a whole world of Entertainment!

The resort runs throughout the year and we are looking for a candidate who can support us with daily uniform needs to assisting with costumes for our unique shows and our seasonal events such as Mardi GRRRa, Wilderfest, Howl’o’ween and Winters Tail, we guarantee there will always be something you can sink your teeth into! 

The role will involve a variety of different jobs depending on the needs of the day.

Including the following;

• Providing and assisting with all uniform needs for the staff on the resort.
• General administration and stock taking   
• Laundry and basic cleaning 
• Dressing for shows 
• Maintenance / repair of uniforms and costumes
• Sewing and making costumes using a wide range of different fabrics.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be organised, passionate, quick thinking and have a keen eye for detail. You should have strong sewing skills (pattern cutting and able to use sewing machine) and we would like you to have excellent communication skills combined with a positive and friendly nature to successfully support not only the live entertainment attractions and events but the whole resort daily.
