Summary

We have an opportunity for a Team Leader to support our Holiday Cottage Cleaners at Hanbury Lodge, South Wing and Rosedene.

Duration: Permanent

Hours: You'll work 390 hours per year, which is approx. 7.5 hours per week

Salary: £10.78 per hour

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Team Leader'

Reporting to the Holiday Manager and Holiday Operation Assistant Manager, you will supervise a local team of 2 Holiday Operation Assistants, who look after 3 holiday cottages within or close to Hanbury Hall. The accommodation consists of a lodge house at the entrance to Hanbury Hall, an apartment within Hanbury Hall and a bungalow at Dodford.

We are a highly motivated and friendly team who are passionate about providing well-presented holiday accommodation for our guests.

What you'll be doing

You will be helping to care for our recently opened holiday properties around Hanbury Lodge. You will help with the training of new cleaning staff, develop the existing team and support the provision of an efficient, effective and flexible service. You'll be ensuring that cover for changeovers is always available and achieved to a very high standard of presentation in line with the NT Holidays Toolkit. You will help in the co-ordination of maintenance and repairs. You will be familiar with working to risk assessments, COSHH procedures, accident reporting, and fire safety.

To excel at this role, you'll need to have;

  • A good understanding of the necessary standards of housekeeping, presentation and maintenance
  • Good people skills and confidence in dealing with a variety of situations, including incidents and complaints
  • Ability to support and lead a team safely
