Summary

The Communications and Marketing directorate plays a crucial role in the Trust. We tell the remarkable stories that emerge from all the places we look after. We promote the mission and cause of Europe’s biggest conservation charity, and we show how everyone can get involved, everyone can make a difference!
We have an opportunity for a Communications and Marketing Project Manager to join the team on an18-month fixed term contract or internal secondment basis to help us deliver key activities within our Public Engagement programme.
Internally this role is known as Project Manager.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office to meet with colleagues and to carry out work.


What you'll be doing

You’ll be working on the delivery of experiential and participative elements of our communications and public engagement campaigns. You’ll develop project plans and manage budgets. You’ll liaise with suppliers to ensure timely, effective delivery and ensure the project outputs meet objectives. You’ll be working closely with a number of colleagues across the organisation including project clients and programme sponsors You’ll work at pace but with care and commitment to quality. 
You’ll help strategy and vision come to life for a wide range of audiences, bringing exciting, fun and surprising experiences from the National Trust to people across the country.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
• Experience overseeing practical and tactical delivery of creative, marketing and/or public engagement projects• Ability to create and deliver against comprehensive project plans • Ability to manage project budgets up to £150,000 • Communication skills, comfortable communicating with a wide range of internal and external colleagues, including programme sponsors• Able to balance multiple priorities and a diverse workload• Experience of translating creative strategy into relevant outputs• Diplomatic but assertive where need
