Salary: £28,875 per year + sales bonus, pension and free gym membership

We are currently looking to add a Sales Manager to lead our sales team at our Chiswick Leisure centre. This leisure centre boasts a 25m 6 lane swimming pool, 2 studios and a Gym that has 40+ pieces of equipment

What is the job of a Sales Manager…

Reporting to the Sales & Retention Manager as the Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading the sales team at Chiswick with a view to driving new sales, membership retention whilst maintaining first class customer service to make this leisure centre the one of choice in the area

• Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team and Retention team 
• Lead and inspire the centre team in delivering the right choice of membership for the customer and delivering first-rate customer service 
• Keep up to date with the latest fitness trends in the Leisure industry to share your knowledge with customers. Undertake local competitor analysis and react appropriately to socio-demographic trends 
• Adopt a proactive approach to driving sales and retention, ensuring the integrity of Lampton Leisure sales driving, retaining, and reporting procedures are adhered to. 
• Managing organizational sales by developing a monthly KPI, Marketing & Cancellation plan to cover sales, revenue, cancellation, and Rota. 
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results to Sales & Retention Manager daily, weekly & Monthly 
• Achieve monthly all sales target, all membership net gain, retention, and enquiries. Be accountable for individual sales for an assigned Centre and achieving an individual sales target on a monthly basis. 
• Drive all revenues, including Swim School, Junior Membership, Memberships, PAYG and member retention 
• Ensure customer service targets are met, all comments are responded to within stipulated deadlines, appropriate action is taken, and a weekly analysis of comments is produced. Servicing the needs of your existing customers, looking at ways to improve retention 

We are looking for someone that…

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager, ideally having experience in the leisure industry or face to face sales environment
• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices  Good planning and organizational skills with experience in working to deadlines to achieve positive results and achieve performance targets 
• Customer-oriented mindset and experience managing customers’ needs 
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills 
• Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for fostering positive relationships 
• Teamwork and leadership skills 
• Experience using a CRM system to log all customer details 
• Experience upselling to secondary spend products
