Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week (working any 5 days out of 7 covering hours 06:00 - 22:30)

We are currently looking to add a Membership Retention Manager to our operations team at our Chiswick Leisure centre that boasts a 25m 6 lane swimming pool, 2 studios and a Gym that has 40+ pieces of equipment

What is the job of a Membership Retention Manager…

Reporting to the Sales & Membership Manager the Membership Retention Manager you will be expected to drive member retention, listen to our members and drive our team to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Make outbound telephone contact with customer who cancel subscriptions and retain them as customers
  • Being able to ask probing questions to gain an understanding of customers circumstances, to help make rational decisions, considering clients guidelines to optimes customer satisfactions
  • Handle customer calls in an efficient and effective manner, giving great customer services over telephone, email, live chat and in person.
  • To achieve and exceed customer retention targets
  • Achieve KPIs and retention targets set by Sales & Membership Manager and central support
  • Ensure all customer sales and bookings are managed correctly, assisting customers in their choices
  • Manage Prospects database and contribute towards lead generation in accordance with marketing planning, including outreach
  • Meetings with team managers to help improve customer service and retention for the site, working together to develop changes. Ensuring the facilities are in working order, if not reported correctly.
  • Respond to customer queries on all platforms including social media, website and customer feedback.

We are looking for someone that…

  • Experience in a membership management or face to face sales-based role
  • Experience of achieving sales-based targets
  • Be able to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good computer skills with experience of using a CRM / Booking software ideal
