Hospitality Team Member - Ashbourne, Derbyshire

We are recruiting for zero hour Team Members to join our team for 4 to 20 hours a week from May until February 2024. Due to the nature of zero hours this can be negotiated and the hours can be on ad hoc basis that is ideal for some people.

Ilam Hall is a 17th Century gothic manor which sits in 84 acres of National Trust parkland, with the beauty of Dovedale just on its doorstep. Our hostel is full of character and nestled near the quaint village of Ilam.

Our hostel is a fun and energetic environment, where we welcome families, backpackers and groups as well as occasional weddings and corporate events.

Here are just some of the tasks you may carry out as a Seasonal Team Member (you may cover some or all of these tasks our roles can vary)!

• carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties
• serving food and drinks front of house

What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Seasonal Team Member?

We value lived experience just as much as previous skills and knowledge. We offer a robust induction, on-going training, and further development, however, some of our roles will have further skills requirements. It’s an advantage but not essential that our team members have experience volunteering or working with other people.

Duties vary so good communication skills and basic IT skills are advantageous. Excellent time keeping is essential
