Job Role - Fitness Advisor: The rate of pay offered for this role is £10.62ph

This role is for 24 Hours Per Week (minimum) - Working 3 days over seven. Shifts will vary between the hours of 05:30-22:30, where you’re required by the needs of the business Additional hours may be required to cover sickness  / annual leave / mandatory training..

Duties will include but are not limited to: teaching group exercise classes in line with the club specific timetable- this is one of the main aspects of the role.  Additional earning opportunities are available for delivering ‘premium group-exercise classes’ and personal training.  Where additional training is required to meet the needs of the business and deliver our group exercise timetable, this will be funded by The Bannatyne Group.

Normal day to day operations include designing tailor made programmes for new & existing members, completing Start Smart  & Health Smart assessments, on top of interacting with members around the club. Pool plant duties, such as pool water testing, pool plant maintenance & admin, full training will be provided.  The fitness team are required to keep high standards on the gym floor and studios on a daily basis (putting equipment away - maintaining kit cleanliness, logging any faulty equipment).

Les Mills module training, Pool Responder & First Aid training will be a requirement of the successful candidate, all funded by The Bannatyne Group. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to train as a ‘responsible person / duty manager / key holder.

You will ideally be educated to HND level in health and fitness where aerobics studio based qualifications is desirable (Les Mills and spinning qualified). Your duties will include gym programmes, fitness assessments, and studio class teaching and day to day operations working on a shift rota basis.

We require you to be Reps Level 2 qualified as a minimum. With Level 3 or equivalent Gym Instruction/Personal Training or Group Exercise qualifications (including ETM, Spin etc.) being desirable.
