Swimming Teacher - West London

Ealing Swimming Club is one of the biggest swim clubs in the UK with over 1,400 members operating out of 7 pools across West London, including Acton, Shepherd's Bush, Greenford, Southall, Chiswick, Northolt and Northwood. We have teachers and coaches across the borough delivering a huge Watersports program from ages 4+ and including Competitive training, Learn to Swim, Masters, Disability Swimming and Water Polo. Our Teachers deliver more because they inspire our members to realise their potential and to go for it! We currently have Level 1 and 2 vacancies across our locations, starting immediately and in September 2023.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and deliver the House Training plan (with the House Head Coach)
  • Maintain registers on poolside.
  • Teach the group to develop their skills.
  • Build relationships and communicate swimmers’ progress with parents.
  • Encourage all in the group to enter competitions and assist in team selections.
  • Attend appropriate meets and gala’s.
  • Participate in club’s Education program attending both courses and CPD events

  • Good time management and organisation skills
  • Work as part of a team

Person Specification, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum Swim England or equivalent Level 1/Level 2 Teaching Qualification.
  • Ability to work in the UK essential

Staff working for the club will be:

  • Registered with Swim England
  • An enhanced DBS check will be completed prior to employment
  • Will need to complete a Safeguarding course.
