WatchHouse is coming to Bath!
We are seeking a Bakery Assistant with previous experience working within a bakery setting. Someone with a passion for the sweet (and savoury) stuff, someone who can follow recipes to the letter and prides them self in producing the best quality product possible.

A slight change to the way we usually do things at WatchHouse, we'll be baking on site at WatchHouse Bath and producing our sweet and savoury bakes in House. In joining our bakery team, you will be responsible for the bakery set up and the preparation and baking of our WatchHouse bakery offering. Products will be prepared on a daily basis. Key to this role is attention to detail.

We require a candidate who be able to work collaboratively alongside the Head Baker in House, the rest of the bakery team and the existing team at WatchHouse Bath. We are looking for someone who is hands on and willing to get the job done, the successful candidate will work, at times independently, in the bakery and able to manage their own time effectively to deliver products in a timely fashion.

Overview of the Role:

• A passion for producing products to a high quality standard following the clear food specs and recipes set out by the senior food team.

• A thinker and a doer, able organise yourself and effectively also contribute positively to a growing business.

• Ensuring the bakery is a well utilised and efficient workspace.

• Oratory skills and your ability to communicate clearly with the senior food team and the rest of the employees at the CPU is key to the success of your role.

Experience: 1 year minimum experience within a bakery setting.

Employment: Full time (30-40 hours per week over 5 days, with weekend work inlcuded).

Starting time: Immediate start.
