Fitness Instructor - Brighton, East Sussex

Location: Brighton - Falmer and Moulsecoomb

This is a great opportunity to join the dynamic and friendly team at Sport Brighton which aims to increase fitness and sporting opportunity for a diverse and vibrant customer base of over 20,000 University of Brighton students & staff alongside a large wider community engagement.

We have invested in an extensive and varied portfolio of facilities across the Universities campuses including a brand new state of the art 100+ station gym and studio on Lewes Road whilst embarking on moving premises into a newly refurbished facility at Falmer. Your experience in the fitness industry will help us develop those services, ensure high levels of customer service and create a motivating environment for our users and your colleagues.

To succeed in the role of developing Sport Brighton engagement, retention and utilisation, you will need:

  • A sound working knowledge of the fitness- industry at a delivery and supervisory level
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self motivation
  • The ability to manage time and workload effectively

You will work on a 3 week rotational shift pattern that includes daytime, evenings and weekend shifts and will oversee/undertake facility operations, enhance member experience, process membership sales, drive/develop promotions and undertake class/programme delivery.
