The Palace Hotel is a 122 bedroom-hotel that boasts the elegant Dovedale Restaurant, which offers traditional cuisine, as well as operating unique conference & banqueting facilities, popular for weddings and town events.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Conference Executive on to the team. The ideal candidate will help us spread the word about the Palace Hotel Buxton. We want to get the best out of our Sales team and to achieve this we are looking for an individual who can help co-ordinate their efforts, focus their attention, monitor their output and maximise productivity.

As Conference Executive you will be required to.

• Ensure Conference and Banqueting business targets for revenue, occupancy and profit are achieved.
• Grow Conference, Banqueting and function business through proactive selling and effective conversion of all enquiries using the agreed company system, maximum profit at all time.
• Ensure that every sales opportunity is realised and converted into bookings.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in dealing with weddings and private functions, corporate sales and agents. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, prioritise their work effectively, work well towards strict deadlines and have excellent numerical and communication skills.
