Following a major refurbishment, The Imperial Hotel will open as ILH flagship 4* Deluxe Hotel in 2024.

We are now recruiting for a People & Development Training Officer​, based in the heart of Bloomsbury to join our vibrant and multi-cultural team. We don't want you to work for us, we want you to work with us and be part of our ILH Family. 

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Head of People and Development, you will work with our Head of People and Development to Lead on the design and delivery of our in-house training and development programs. 

Working In partnership with the L&D Team, the Hotel Managers and Front Office HODs, You will assist to design, deliver and evaluation of our in-house operational and skills development courses/workshops, in line with legislation, SOPs, brand and industry standards and acknowledged best practice.​

  • Lead on the design, delivery, on-going assessment and evaluation of in-house training and development programs with a specific focus on Front Office, Customer Service and Company Induction Programme.
  • Undertake one-to-one and group coaching / training as required.
  • Identify and develop potential Front Office ‘Buddies’ to strengthen their effectiveness and impact. Hosting “Buddy” quarterly Workshops and overview their continuous development.
