We are now looking for a Head of Ticketing and Sales to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As our Head of Ticketing and Sales, you will oversee the configuration and operation of ticketing for productions, maximising revenue from ticket sales and ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained at box office.

You’ll manage ticketing, CRM and other digital systems, including supporting and training colleagues to use Tessitura, our arts enterprise system.

Managing the Box Office & Marketing Coordinator and Box Office Assistants, you’ll provide training and support while ensuring that the work of the department is in line with our access and diversity objectives.

Additionally, you will:

  • Ensure the accuracy of financial reconciliation
  • Set up season on-sale announcements
  • Act as the main point of contact for external ticketing agents
  • Manage and develop Hampstead Theatre’s digital roadmap
  • Provide data-driven business intelligence support to relevant departments
  • Support digital communication campaigns


About You

To be considered as our Head of Ticketing and Sales, you will need:

  • Experience of leading a ticketing department in a similar environment
  • Experience of working with a digital ticketing and CRM system
  • A proven ability maximising ticket sales
  • The ability to analyse and understand complex sales and demographic data
  • The ability to train, motivate and encourage others
  • Excellent understanding of financial data
  • A genuine passion for bold, ambitious, original theatre
