Hours: 16 -21 hours per week and holiday cover (Monday-Sunday in accordance with rota) Required to work a variety of day, evening & Public Bank Holiday shifts. Monday – Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday – Saturday 9am – 6pm, Sunday 10am – 4pm.
Purpose of the Role
We are looking for someone with the right energy; enthusiasm and attitude to join the prestigious Spa Team and to deliver excellence service in all areas.
We are seeking an exceptional Part Time Spa Receptionist.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the Spa according to the check sheets.
- Ensure all stock is securely locked away throughout the day and at the end of your shift.
- Make treatment bookings, in person, over the telephone and via email.
- Take payments for all appointments that have been completed on your shift.
- Bring to the attention on the manager any outstanding balances at the end of your shift.
- Confirmation calls to be made 48 hours prior to client appointments.
- Consultation forms, prepared for each therapist, ensure they are signed by the client.
- Upsell any treatment or retail items.
- Take part and help with Spa events.
- Host – ensure all clients are welcomed with a professional approach, offering refreshments and at the end of their visit to the Spa, asking them how their treatment was, would they like to buy any products and/or make another Spa booking.
- Ensure the Spa is kept clean and tidy throughout the day. Restocking laundry and refreshments. All treatment rooms must be set up as a show room when the treatment door is open.
- Refresh and clean displays weekly.
- At the start of everyday ensure the ‘Treatments Available Today’ board is displayed outside the Spa.
- Ensure all marketing is up to date and restocked around the club relating to the Spa department.
- Promote any events, promotions or new services to members.
- Take responsibility for end of day cash up.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Spa manager and Maintenance manager.
- If a therapist calls in sick ensure all clients are contacted ASAP with new arrangements made where possible.
- You are responsible for covering your shift in relation to sickness or holiday requests.
- Check off any deliveries to the Spa, reporting any damaged or missing items. Price up all retail before being put away in display cabinets.
- Generally responsible for the smooth running of the Spa on a day-to-day basis, reporting any issues to the Assistant Spa Manager or Spa Manager.
- Health, safety, and hygiene must be considered at all times.
- Attend required training courses.
- Monitor stock control.
- To maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- To work as part of the team to expand the Spa Therapy Department and increase the business and client base.
- To be involved in the launch and promotion of new products and treatments and to undergo the necessary training.
- To take responsibility for the re-stocking and to report low stock levels or stock shortages to the Spa Manager.
- To ensure that all cupboards and doors are locked at the end of the day.
- Be career orientated.
- Must be able to deliver 1st class customer service.
- Constantly display enthusiasm and a positive approach to work.
- Be flexible, work as part of a hard-working team and passionate team.
- Be fluent in English.
