Lifeguard/Leisure Duty (Fixed Term) - Chessington, Surrey

Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Surrey, KT9 2NE

Hours: This role is full time fixed term until around June 2023, averaging 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, which will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings

We're currently looking for a Lifeguard/Leisure Duty to join our Leisure Club team at Britain’s Wildest Adventure!

About the Role

In this role you will provide supervision of the pool area, ensuring that we follow Health & Safety regulations and that our staff and guest’s safety always remains our number one priority. You will carry out regular pool checks to ensure it is at a safe level for use and ensure the club remains clean and tidy at all times.

Working within the small and efficient team you will also assist at the club reception, meeting and greeting guests, answering questions and queries and generally engaging with our guests as an experienced and friendly face of the leisure club team.

You will also be required to take on the department Duty role as and when required. 

What we’re looking for

• A people’s person with great communication skills, lots of passion & energy and a real team spirit
• Previous experience managing a team within the Leisure Industry
• A valid NPLQ qualification is essential for this role and ideally you will have a first aid at work certificate.
