Customer Service Host - Glasgow

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Host at Glasgow Theatres. Being a member of our Box Office team, you will provide great customer service and help bring the magic of the theatre to the people of Glasgow at both the Kings Theatre and Theatre Royal. As our busiest season approaches, we need people with great communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a love for showbiz to sell tickets to some of theatres biggest productions. We offer a friendly and supportive workplace with full training given.

Reporting to Sales and Ticketing Supervisor you will deliver first class service to customers and producers. You will be expected to manage a busy counter as well as perform vital administrative duties in order to support the Box Office operation. Although on a zero-hour contract, you will be expected to make yourself available for Evenings and Weekends primarily.  The team works on a rota basis to cover across Monday - Sunday. Availability including evenings and weekends is therefore essential for this role.

Applicants must be available for Interview on Tuesday 4th April  and Induction on Wed 12th April

Please take a look at our job description download for further details. If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we'd like to hear from you! Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture. Find out more about us and our values at atg.co.uk and careers.atg.co.uk

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible.

If you'd like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please review our job description where you can find our contact details to request a confidential discussion.
