Location: Billesley Indoor Tennis Centre, B13 0ST

Working Hours: 23 hours per week, mixture of earlies lates and weekends

Salary: £9.90 per hour

As the Facilities Assistant you’ll play an important part of life here at the centre as you ensure that the facilities are kept clean, tidy, and safe for all our customers to use. This will involve you providing customer care to people of all ages, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in both sporting and none sporting areas.  You will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling and set up of sports equipment as well as carrying out any other duties as required.

In this role you will also provide coaching and guidance to our customers and provide a friendly, welcoming and sociable environment. This role will involve a high level of customer interaction and there will be times when you will be required to work our reception desk serving customers and making phone calls.

What you'll need to do the role 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required. 

This role will see you working on computers, handling customer payments as well as handling our phone lines, previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable. 

It is desirable that you already have a REPS Fitness Instructing level 2 however we are also interested in hearing from you if you are willing to complete the qualification on the job.
