Location: Shrewsbury Sports Village, SY1 4RQ

Working Hours: School holidays Monday – Friday, with the potential of weekend work

Salary: up to £9.50 per hour depending on age

In this role you will work with your fellow team members to plan and deliver a safe, fun and engaging program of sports, arts and craft activities that meets the needs of our customers who will be aged 4 to 12 years old during the school holidays.

Your days will be varied and will include providing activity sessions, coaching various sports, handing out lunch bags and making sure the kids are enjoying themselves, are well looked after and have the best experience possible.

What you’ll need to do the role

First and foremost, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, communication and organisational skills as well as be comfortable working with children. We welcome applications from candidates aged 16 and above.

We are looking for candidates who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to be considered for this role.

Lastly, it’s desirable that you hold a sport specific, play work qualification, first aid certificate as well as child protection however this is not essential as full training will be provided.
